You know, I love the folio so much, let's get straight to it.
The Interior
It's fuzzy. The interior is lined with a product similar to velour. It's soft, fuzzy, addicting to rub your fingers across, and attached with incredible craftsmanship. The interior is designed to look incredible and protect those precious photos stored within. There are two box sizes available. My sample (shown) holds an 8 x 10 mat. The photograph will be slightly smaller.
The hinges are soft-close, similar to those used in kitchen drawers. They provide a nice, smooth feel when opening and closing.
All the Goodies
There's something magical about the folio. The wood is American walnut, sourced from the Appalachian mountains. It is the same material used for furniture on display in Buckingham Palace and other notable places.
The interior is completely lined with the velour-like protective material, doing its job to keep your photos safe. Inside the folio box, you'll find your prints and matching USB. The USB can be engraved with a word or two like the lid (see below). The image files for the photos you selected for printing and matting will be stored on the USB for quick/easy reference.
Two mat options are available. Both are built with the same high-quality materials but one is easier to change the photos, if you like to swap the photos out at times. Mats are available in three color options, to compliment your photos, folio box, and decor.
Personalize It
There's room for a line or two of text, which is plenty for a first and last name, or other text ideas. We can discuss all that during your consultation. For my sample box, I had my logo and name engraved so you can see it firsthand.
I hope you enjoyed this look at my studio sample of the premium walnut folio box. I love setting aside a moment in my day to open the box, pull out the photos, to look at them, one at a time. I sometimes find myself looking deep within the photos, to look for things I hadn't seen before. Then, depending on how I'm feeling, I may leave the box out on display in our living room or I may tuck it back away in its storage box until the next time I want to look through it again. Sometimes, I find I enjoy just seeing it on display as I walk through the house. It is like the items in my wife's curio cabinet. It enhances our lifestyle and our home.
