For Easter, I photographed the Easter Bunny Arrival Celebration at South Hill Mall in Puyallup. It started with a fun run called the Bunny Dash. At the end of the race, the contestants met the bunny at a marked area in the mall and escorted him from that area through the entire mall, down to a party room.

While waiting for all of the contestants to assemble at the waiting area, there was a red carpet previously laid out and marked off for the bunny to make his grand entrance inside the mall. This was pretty fun because many of the kids could not even wait for the bunny to arrive to the eed carpet. One girl in particular ran to the bunny and gave him a big hug before he set foot on the red carpet.

The bunny drew quite a crowd during the promenade to the party room. A big deal was made of it too, with security and mall personnel escorting him while I photographed all of them Paparazzi Style. Once in the party room, lots of snacks, family fun, gift drawings, and lots and lots of bunny hugs were there for all to partake in.

The bunny stayed for as long as he could but eventually had to leave. If you were unable to attend this event, keep checking the South Hill Mall schedule. There are lots of events planned for this year and who knows, maybe we'll see the bunny again. :-)

Note for contractual reasons only these photos will be shown.

For those interested in the technical decals, this event was photographed with a Nikon D850, Tamron 24-70 G2 lens, and a Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 G VRII lens.
