Passing a Cowboy Shirt to a Future Generation

My wife’s parents live all of about walking distance from Beus Pond, which is in Ogden, Utah, so while we were there, we made several trips to visit it. Beus Pond has the most Wood Ducks in one spot that I have ever seen and with all of those fall colors, is a very popular area for moms with cameras and kids! In fact, Sunday’s seemed to be “family photo day” as the lake was packed with well-dressed families posing their somewhat willing children. Wanting to be part of the fun, I grabbed Marshall, my camera, and the new flash attachment my company is developing, and sped to the lake after dinner.

The shirt Marshall is wearing is a shirt that was given to me when I was his age. My mom wanted pictures of Marshall in it, so she sent it with us on our trip. Marshall makes being a photographer easy, and we came back with several different photos for the books.
